Dr. Robert T. Sicora is the founder and CEO of Sicora Consulting, a global organizational development firm dedicated to helping individuals, teams, and organizations maximize human potential by Building Trust with Purpose. For more than 30 years, Robert has worked with thousands of leaders and organizations to strengthen leadership, engagement, trust, and organizational performance.

At the heart of his work is Leading from the Helm®, the research-based, systems-thinking methodology he developed to connect eight critical areas of organizational effectiveness: strategy, leadership, culture, team, engagement, process, customer, and results. Rather than treating these as separate initiatives, the Helm helps organizations see how they work together to create sustainable performance.

Robert is also the creator of the 8 Factors of Engagement®, a balanced and holistic approach that shifts engagement from something organizations simply measure to something employees and leaders can understand, own, and act upon. The model focuses on Purpose, Accountability, Resources, Trust, Care, Recognition, Development, and Agility and is designed to help create an employee-led culture of engagement.

His work is grounded in both decades of practical organizational experience and doctoral research into personality, leadership, and trust, including a study involving more than 1,300 people across 18 organizations.

Robert is the author of Grab the Helm, Chart Your Course, 8 Factors of Engagement: Creating an Employee-Led Culture of Engagement, and Get Unstuck. Together, his books and frameworks share a common idea: people are capable of taking greater ownership of how they live, lead, work, and engage when they understand what is truly driving them.

That idea comes together in Get Unstuck, Robert’s latest work designed to help people identify what is holding them back, reconnect with what matters, and take meaningful action forward.

Robert is also an experienced speaker and facilitator, bringing practical insight, storytelling, and more than three decades of experience to conferences, leadership programs, retreats, and organizational events.

Based in Minneapolis, Robert is an avid sailor, global traveler, and lifelong learner whose purpose remains simple: helping others maximize their potential, live and lead with purpose, and build trust along the way.
